
This tutorial was created on January 18, 2003 and is of my own doing, any likeliness to other tutorials on the Internet is purely coincidental. This tutorial was created using PSP 7.04, and assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. The tutorial may work with previous editions with a few adjustments, but I cannot guarantee the same results. My tutorials are only basic guidelines to help you achieve a certain effect, please feel free to any creative liberties to achieve your effects.
You will need:

Andrews Filter 21- You can get it HERE

Graphic of your choice

To use this graphic right click on the graphic and save to your hard drive. If anyone knows where this graphic has come from, please E-mail me so that proper credit can be given or permission obtained. Thank you.
Step 1:
Open the graphic of your choice, duplicate it by selecting the Shift plus D key and close your original graphic.
Step 2:
Resize your image to 350 Width on Longest side. Then go to Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen.

Step 3:
Duplicate your image and minimize for now. We're going to need this later.
Step 4:
On your first copy of the image, go to layers and select "Promote to Layer".

Step 5:
Go to Effects/Plug-in Filters/Andrew's Filter's 21 and select the "Sticking A Poster On The Wall". For the purpose of this tutorial the following settings were used:
Red = 191; Green = 191; Blue = 191; Red Blap = 166; Green Blap = 118; Blue Blap = 59; Mix 1 = 51, Mix 2 = 86
Select OK.

Step 6:
Go to Effects/Texture Effects/Fur with the following settings:
Blur = 18; Density = 44; Length = 2; Transparency = 72
Select OK.

Step 7:
Activate your minimized image, go to Edit/Copy; back to your working image and go to Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer.
Step 8:
On your Layer Palette lower the Opacity of Layer 2 to 47.

Step 9:
Go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (Flatten).
Step 10:
Making sure your background is set to white, go to Image/Add Borders and add a Symmetrical 10 border. Select the border with your magic wand, and flood-fill with a complimentary color from your graphic. Do NOT Deselect.

Step 11:
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel with the following settings:
Bevel = 1/4 pie shape; Width = 10; Smoothness = 2; Depth = 7, Ambience = 13, Shininess = 24; Color = White; Angle = 315; Intensity = 40, Elevation = 20.

Step 12:
Next go to Selections/Invert, then select Effects/3D Effects/Cutout with the following settings:
Horizontal and Vertical = 3; Opacity = 100, Blur = 30, Color = #A58770; Fill interior with color = UNchecked. Repeat Cutout, only this time change your Vertical and Horizontal to a minus 3. Selections/Select None.

Step 13:
Go to Image/Add Borders and add a Symmetrical 30 Border. Select border with your magic wand.
Step 14:
Select your Flood Fill icon, and change your foreground to pattern selecting your minimized image with Scale = 100 and
Angle = 50. Do NOT Deselect.

Step 15:
Reapply the Andrews Filter and settings used in step 5. Do NOT Deselect:
Step 16:
Go to Effects/Texture Effects/Fur and reapply using the same settings. Do NOT Deselect
Step 17:
Go to Layers/Add New Raster Layer. Do NOT Deselect.
Step 18:
Floodfill this Layer with your pattern. On your Layer Palette, lower the Opacity on Layer 1 to 47. Do NOT Deselect.
Step 19:
Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Do NOT Deselect.
Step 20:
Go to Effects/Artistic Effects/Topography and with the following settings:
Width = 100; Density = 67; Angle = 236; Color = White.

Step 21:
Go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (Flatten). To finish framing the graphic, repeat the border in Step 10 and the Inner Bevel in Step 11.
Step 22:
If you wish, decorate with Corners or Brushes; Resize for any group requirments and your finished.
